Sarah Weygand

Sarah leads student support services, community outreach, site operations, and recruitment for graduate programs in Leavenworth. In previous roles, she has worked as the Director of Military and Veteran Student Services at Park University and as the Veteran Outreach Coordinator at Johnson County Community College.

Sarah is a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard. First serving as a reservist, she was stationed at Port Security Unit 301 out of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. During that time, she attended Boatswain's mate Advanced School and was promoted to Petter Officer 3rd class. Following her reserve time, she transitioned to active duty and served as a lead athletic instructor at Coast Guard Basic Training in Cape May, New Jersey.
